This logo is the result of four words which, as we began this process, emerged as descriptive of our congregation and its mission: history, future, open and growth. The design finds its inspiration from the red diamond shape in our stained-glass windows and from the red brick of our buildings. It is comprised of a dogwood blossom which is a symbol of Christianity. In its four petals we see a cross, and it is noted that the dogwood tree itself symbolizes rebirth and life, joy and beauty. The blossom of this logo reflects openness. The green accents, inspired by the point on the tip of a holly leaf, allude to new growth. In this logo we see tradition and stability as well as the unfolding of something new!
